The safeguarding requirements for a club with teams at any ages from under 18 and below are that you need a Club Welfare Officer, Chair, Secretary and Treasurer who have all completed the safeguarding for Committee members course found under this link
There are three other requirements for your Welfare Officer:
Firstly, they must have a valid, in-date, enhanced, FA DBS check.
Secondly, they need to have completed a Safeguarding Children Course - Found here
Thirdly they must complete a Welfare Officer course - Found here
All managers and coaches of any youth team will also need to have a valid, in-date, enhanced, FA DBS check and we would strongly encourage all coaches to complete the Safeguarding Children Course - Found here
