Welfare Officer Requirement

There are four requirements for a welfare officer (youth teams).

Firstly, they must have a valid, in-date, enhanced, FA DBS check

Secondly, they need to have completed a Safeguarding Children Course 

Thirdly they must complete a Welfare Officer course 

Lastly, they must complete the safeguarding for committee members course


There are two requirements for a Welfare Officer (Adult teams)


Firstly, they must have a valid, in-date, enhanced, FA DBS check


Secondly, they need to have completed a Player welfare in open age football course
