Clubs with Youth Teams
- Chair, Secretary, Treasurer must have an in date Safeguarding for Committee Members Course
- Club Welfare Officer/ Assistant Club Welfare Officer (Youth Teams) must have an FA approved, enhanced DBS check within the past three years, an in date safeguarding for committee members course, safeguarding children course and welfare officer course.
- Every team official (Manager, Coach, Medic, Assistant manager/coach) listed in on-field roles must have an FA approved, enhanced DBS check within the past three years.
- Every team official (Manager, Coach, Medic, Assistant manager/coach) listed in on-field roles have completed the safeguarding children course.
Clubs with Adult Teams
- A Welfare Officer (Adult teams) must have an FA approved, enhanced DBS check within the past three years.
- A Welfare Officer (Adult teams) must have completed the Player Welfare in Open Age football course
- Every team official (Manager, Coach, Medic, Assistant manager/coach) listed in on-field roles must have an FA approved, enhanced DBS check within the past three years.
- Every team official (Manager, Coach, Medic, Assistant manager/coach) listed in on-field roles in a team containing 16 and/or 17 year-olds, must have completed the Player Welfare in Open Age football course
Clubs with Disability Disability teams
- Adult Disability Welfare Officer to be in place, with DBS, Safeguarding Adult Course and Welfare Officer course.
It should be noted that the CWO youth teams, CWO adult teams and CWO Disability teams can be the same person if appropriate
