The Premier League Stadium Fund (formerly known as the Football Stadia Improvement Fund) awards capital grants to clubs throughout the football pyramid to support improvement of their stadium facilities for players, supporters and officials.
Applications for this fund can only be made by Clubs in the National League System (NLS) (Step 1 – 6), Women's Football Pyramid (Tier 1 to 4) and the English Football League.
Financial support is provided to clubs to:
- Add new covered seating and ancillary facilities, providing a better experience for supporters off the pitch
- Install new LED floodlights to help clubs become more financially sustainable on the pitch
- Build new or refurbish changing rooms to create a more inclusive environment for both players and officials
- Provide pitch-maintenance equipment to help prepare a better playing surface for games to be played on, reducing the number of postponements each season
- Erect boundary fencing to help make stadiums more safe and secure
The eligibility of projects and the grant limits available are dependent on the step of the National League System your club plays at. If you don’t know which step your club plays at, please speak to your League Secretary or check the listings below.
