Reclaiming Club Equipment

Modified on Wed, 08 Nov 2023 at 11:32 AM

Clubs should include provisions for returning Club equipment (playing/training kits, balls, bibs, etc) within their membership rules or registration forms.

It should be made explicitly clear to a player within these documents if they own any equipment, or the equipment remains the property of the Club. Clubs may also wish to consider asking Players to pay a deposit before any equipment is handed over, which can then be retained should a player leave without returning the equipment.

If a Player leaves the Club and fails to return any equipment the County FA is not able to assist in reclaiming either the original equipment, or its financial value.
