The County FA will endeavour to appoint match officials for all County Cup fixtures.
You will be notified by FA Full Time (please make sure team contact details are up to date) of any appointment to your fixture.
Please confirm the game with the match officials at the earliest convenience and notify us if there is a problem.
What if a Referee fails to attend the game
In the event that the match Referee doesn't turn up, the Senior Assistant Referee will take charge of the game, and an Assistant Referee will be appointed by the competing teams.
In games where no Assistant Referee is appointed, the competing clubs will need to agree on the identity of a match Referee, who is then given the full powers, status and responsibility of a affiliated Referee.
Persons under the age of 16 cannot referee in BBFA County Cups.
The match will need to be completed as normal and a postponement for the referee not turning up will not be accepted by the Competitions Committee.
Referee Fees
Referees fees differ from competition to competition.
Both clubs are responsible for the payment of Referees on a 50%-50% basis, EXCEPT for the Senior Cup, where the referees fees will be taken from the gate receipts.
